Can money buy your happiness? "Money cannot buy my happiness. I'd say my pursuit in life isn't for material things or for money. My happiness is found in the company I keep, in the relationships I form, and in my pursuit of God. I feel like money doesn't fit that mold of happiness. It can bring new things and people feel like it's necessary for happiness because they feel with money they'll be able to provide for their family or whatever, which at it's root isn't a bad thing to have those desires. I'd say that money doesn't bring about my happiness."

I love working with the kids to help plant a seed in them for God. My passion is to work with kids in education and at church. I would want people to remember me not for what I did because, obviously, I want all the glory and honor to go to God. You know how they have preachers and people who work with others? I'd want to be one of those important people. I'd also want to leave a legacy to my grandchildren. I want them to see that I had goals and dreams and that I accomplished them."

How do you define happiness? "Happiness is being with the people you love, finding peace wherever you are in your life, no matter the circumstance, and finding joy in the little things."
Grantham March 12, 2014; Azusa, CA
How do you define happiness? "It's difficult because I want to give you a typical Sunday School answer like, 'If I'm fulfilling God's plan for my life (which I don't know what that is) then I should be happy.' How I define happiness is by what makes me feel good, but even that is relative. Something can make you feel good and in today's society, pleasure is so readily available that we often mistake our pleasure for our happiness. So, with all that being said, I think that happiness isn't just something that makes you 'feel fulfilled,' but being fulfilled in Christ. "

Where do you see yourself one day? "I don't really know how to answer that. Well, I know I hope to see myself in New York City one day, working at the New Yorker or maybe being an attorney at some law firm. I also hope for a life where I can wake up in the morning and make my coffee while stretching and watching the morning news, looking forward to attacking the day before me. Maybe that's weird. I'm just a romantic."
Rachel February 15, 2014; Azusa, CA
If you had the choice, would you give it all up for love? "My professor said, 'The normal human response is actually that you need love to live.' Humans are wanting that need to feel belonged, loved, and accepted. So if you don't have love, you're kind of living in a box and that's not reality and you're going to be lonely. If you don't love, you're kind of not living. It doesn't even have to be romantic love, it could be love for your neighbor, your family, your friends, your community...even your pets. Love hurts, but it's really worth it because with love that's where you really learn the most. The people I love the most in my life, are the ones that I have learned the most and grown from. I would not be the person I am today without them."
Yas February 7, 2014; Azusa, CA

What's your happy place? "My happy place? Well I guess this could go two ways. You could think of your happy place as where you would go in your mind if you were to be in a perfect state of happiness or where you go in real life to be happy. Um... I don't really think I have one. Happy isn't a place. For me it's people that you're with; the situation that you're in. You know, the dividing line between happiness and joy is that happiness depends on your circumstances and what's happening and joy is like the eternal happy. So a happy place would be where I am happy and that would be with good conversation, good people... things that I would enjoy. So you can't really define it."

What's the question you don't want to know the answer to? "This is going to sound weird at first, but probably 'What's going to happen next?'
I feel like if I knew what was going to be next, life wouldn't be nearly as fun. Half of life is kind of figuring out what's coming next and generally being surprised by it and living it out honestly, as opposed to just kind of already knowing and doing the best I can.
I mean it would be nice to know what will be next, but half of life is the unexpected and I think it's fun."
Megan November 21, 2013; Azusa, CA
What are your dreams? "My dreams are... this sounds stupid. Not to necessarily change the world, but to make and impact on it. What I mean by that is mostly to be an influence on people's lives. For example, I want to be a physician's assistant or something in the medical field where I can help people everyday. My ultimate dream is to go to a foreign country on a medical mission where I can spread the love of Jesus Christ and help heal people. That's probably one of my largest dreams. I'm passionate about helping others."
Britini November 19, 2013; Azusa, CA

Sam December 24, 2014; Azusa, CA

What is the truth? "Jesus Christ said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the light.' Jesus Christ embodied, in my mind as a Christian, the God of the universe who is above all and in all and through all. So the essence of everything we experience and see is more truth than anything else."
Bobby November 20, 2014; Azusa, CA

Moto October 31, 2014; Azusa, CA
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be? "So I think I would probably like the world to be more forgiving of each other. Meaning, when we make mistakes or when we make bad choices, there will be consequences, but I want the world to be a place where second chances are well warranted and where everyone has access to them. I don't necessarily want to eliminate the mistakes in the world because that sounds like a pretty boring place to be. What makes you feel alive? "Aside from the blood that is pumping through my veins? My wife and I like to talk about birds. We don't do this as much as before we had a child, but when we were expecting our first child we were living in Louisiana and we were by a really nice swampy area. That's kind of an oxymoron, isn't it? We would go and watch herons in their breeding and nesting grounds. There were basically raising their own eggs and babies and it was really strange because there was a certain sense of feeling totally a part of nature in the sense that we were also 'nesting.' There was something really profound and 'alive' feeling about that."

Andrew April 2, 2014; Azusa, CA
"What's the question you don't want to know the answer to?" "I'm going to say, 'Does life have a point?' I personally believe that life is what you make it and I don't want to have to mold my expectations of what life's going to be based on some arbitrary answer that someone gives. Let's say life doesn't have a point, well that gives more validity to nihilism, which, if you know anything about that, is not a fun way to go through life. It's very morbid, very dark. And if life has a specific point like eat, sleep, make children, and die, then that's just way too simple. So I like to stick with 'Life is what you make it.' It calls for dynamism... more isms blah blah blah."
John March 29, 2014; Azusa, CA
Do you need to take a leap of faith? "I suppose so because without taking leaps of faith in life then you're just going to get stuck in the same spot, you know? Nothing will ever change. Everyone was running around trying to get to class when a poop decided to take the biggest dump on my head. It splattered all over my face, into my mouth, and down my shirt. Is ignorance bliss and why? "I'm not really familiar with the word, 'bliss,' but I'm going to say that, given the context, it means not relevant or important or valued in society. I would say that ignorance is definitely not valued in society, but I can see how some ignorant people with would say that they think it is. There's always an ignorant person who's really popular, thinking that ignorance is actually valued in society, which might only be in high school. I would say overall ignorance is something that is not desirable."
Edenrose February 12, 2014; Azusa, CA
What three people, dead or alive, would you want to have dinner with? "Wow, dead or alive? (Sings: dead or alive) What three people? Oprah! You want to know why right? Because I feel like she has a lot of depth to her and she's talked to a lot of people. I feel like she has a very good insight to the world. Maybe I could learn a couple things from her. Hmm... another person... Oh God that's hard. I'm going to throw in Channing Tatum just because he's hot. Or Ryan Gosling. I don't know one of those two. I mean, you have to do one hot one right? And the third person... wow, that's so hard! I kind of want to say Martin Luther King Jr., but I feel like everyone says that. Three people is so hard. Whoever the third person is I feel like I would have to come away with a lot of insight from that person. Who's really insightful or famous? I'll say Ellen DeGeneres because she would be a freaking crack up. Or some comedian.

What's one of the scariest things you've ever done? "So this summer, I traveled with some buddies of mine. Their names are Luke, Justin, and Daniel. We went to Zion, Utah on a road trip. It was kind of a sporadic road trip and what a sight to see, if you ask me. So we traveled up this mountain and on each side, there were thousands of drops of feet. We're talking a five foot width. We're scared and we're holding on to hand rails and it's a pretty intense scene. It's half a mile round trip, there and back, but it took us a while because you want to stay safe. You want to make sure both feet are planted and your hands are always on the rail. Before we took that hike, there was a sign that explained the danger of it and I was very scared during that moment. I was doing a lot of prayer as I was walking it. If you want, I could pull up a picture of the place."
Chris November 29, 2014; Azusa, CA

Kelly November 11, 2014; Azusa, cA
What do you believe in? "I believe in a thing called love... Cornball, necessary moment: I believe in God the father, the Holy Trinity, and that Jesus fulfilled the law. Now I get to live holy and fulfilled via Him. I believe coffee is necessary and sufficient to make me a normal human. I believe that people need people, especially when you think you need no people. I believe that you should live to eat, not eat to live, looking at you Paleo. Got to get that cheese, though. I believe in feminism, I believe that Christian men are afraid of feminism, and that a lot of Christian women are equally afraid of feminism. I don't believe that every micro aggression necessitates a macro retaliation. I believe that you should stand up for what you believe in and that you should know the things you believe in when someone asks you what you believe. THE END."

What's your superpower? "If I had a fictional superpower, it would be super speed. Not only can Flash get from one place to another at the snap of your fingers, but he can also vibrate from his molecule so fast, he can move through solid objects. Because he runs so fast and uses so much energy while eating, he has a super fast metabolism, so he always needs to be eating and he doesn't gain any weight. Tim September 16, 2014; Azusa, CA
What is your greatest fear? "My greatest fear is walking into a room and knowing that 33% of the people there probably call themselves Christian. So, statistically, 3 out of 10 people are saved. According to the same survey, this includes Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons and nominal Christians: people who don't take their faith seriously; people who say they grew up in a Christian household... but I don't believe that makes them saved. People are going down a path that essentially, I know is a path to hell and they just don't care. They just don't listen. My greatest fear is walking in and trying to share the gospel with them. Not that they'll reject it, but that if I don't share it with them... what if I'm the last person to try before they die? What if it was my obligation?"
Gabrielle September 9, 2014; Newport Beach, CA

Ali March 6, 2014; Azusa, CA
