If you could offer one piece of advice, what would it be? "I think that the one thing that is applicable to any kind of person is that if you trust God to just provide in the circumstance, regardless of it and you have peace about that, then that peace overflows into any other facet of your life. Not even just your spiritual life. I think that's the most important thing, to just have peace in the Lord and that He will provide your strength and that He will provide your love for people." Los Angeles, California
"Why can't you live without them? "I'm going to keep them anonymous, but I can't live without them because they are the main backbone in my support, especially with my struggle with depression. They are my go-to people for whenever I need support, mentally or spiritually." Los Angeles, California
What is true love? "True love is seeing someone and being able to believe in there value even if they're not living up to that. It's being bale to see someone for who they really are and to love them that way and to believe that the one who did that the best ever in history in Jesus. So I believe that if we imitate the way that he loved others that then we can be true lovers." Los Angeles, California
If you could have any question answered, what would it be? "I think it's honestly, 'What will become of the human race?' because that's what saddens me the most. The fact that I'm born in such a critical time is crazy. It's like a whole different civilization from 40 years ago. If I think about 40 years from today... Science only grows exponentially. The knowledge of the universe only grows exponentially. Eventually we're going to be robots' predecessors and humans will no longer be around... because if you think about it, eventually we're just going to be cyborgs. It's the only logical thing that can happen because our human bodies are not able to travel through time. The only thing that's going to persist in the end is the technology we leave behind. We're never going to leave Earth. We're just going to stay stranded here because we're going to kill ourselves before we get anywhere outside of our solar system. I mean, we're never going to get to Mars. It's just, like, a dream. There's no atmosphere, no nothing. I just want to know what will happen to the human race. Dude, I'm going to die! That sounds so scary. I want to know what people 20 years ago were saying when they died. They could never imagine what the world would be like today. I can't imagine what the world will be like in 20 years. I want to see it, though. I want to see what happens next and what becomes of us. That's just hard, dude. It's hard. And I hope we can get to a better place but, sadly, greed and all these other things spoil it for basically all of humanity. It's what I fear, our progress." Los Angeles, California
How do you want to change the world? "I want to show people that not all cops are terrible. I want to show people that there's still good in the world through law enforcement. That's my biggest goal coming out of college." Azusa, California
What makes you smile? "I don't know, a plethora of things. Probably my first love, which is music." Azusa, California
If you could do it all over again, what would you change? "You're going to have to ask me a different question because I'm from Fontana. That's a long list. There you go, that's my answer. It's a long list." Azusa, California
If you could change a lot of people's minds, what would you make them believe? "I feel like sometimes we're so concerned about ourselves and who we are that we often forget about the less fortunate. As a society we forget to love people. Just watching all of the political crap and all of the stuff that's been going on with the country and the world, I wish that people would really start to understand what love means and what it means to love others, you know. I mean it sounds cliche but loving you neighbor I think is... it's not just a verse from scripture, it's universal no matter what religion or worldview people hold to. I even need to remind myself of that sometimes." Azusa, California
